Eplomteh d.o.o. with its registered office in Klokovac, Gustava Ožegovića 3, is the manager of the processing of your personal data. The privacy policy applies to all user personal data that we collect and process, directly or through our partners. Personal data is any data relating to a natural person whose identity has been determined or can be determined directly or indirectly. Data processing is any action performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, inspection, and transfer of personal data. This Policy does not apply to anonymous data. Anonymous data is data that cannot be linked to a specific natural person.

How we collect your personal data

Eplomteh d.o.o. processes your personal data, among others, in the following cases:

  • 1. if you contact us directly, e.g. through the eplomteh.hr website and all subdomains derived from the base domain, to request information about products and services;
  • 2. if you purchase a product or service directly from us;
  • 3. if you respond to our direct marketing campaigns, for example by filling in a response card or entering data online on our website;
  • 4. if other business partners forwarded your personal data to us in a permitted manner;
  • 5. if we have received your personal data from other sources (eg from brokers for business addresses).

If you provide information on behalf of another person, you must ensure that that person is aware of this privacy policy before doing so. If you are under the age of 16, please do not provide us with any information without the consent of your parent or guardian.

What information may be collected about you

We may collect the following types of data about you:

  • Interests: information about your interests in products and services offered by Eplomteh d.o.o.

  • Photographs and video recordings: in the case of product and service presentations, trade fairs and other similar events, we can accompany the event by photographing or recording video material that we later publish on the Eplomteh d.o.o. website. and associated pages on social networks that we edit independently.

  • Customer history information: customer satisfaction level, offers received, product purchase information, configuration, purchase date, order date, delivery date, and warranty information.
  • Use of Device and Services: How you use your device and the services offered on the device
  • Device Configuration Data: information about the features and current settings of your device (identified by the device's serial and/or inventory number).
  • Technical Device Information: Information about current or past performance of devices and components
  • Location Information: Installation or delivery of devices/products

How your data may be used

The use of personal data by EU regulations on the protection of personal data must be justified based on one of the legal "grounds", and we are obliged to establish the basis for each use of personal data in these rules.

Customer support and marketing – to answer inquiries and provide news and offers

Eplomteh d.o.o. collects data (contact data and interests, customer history information) and may use it (sales and service information, device configuration data, and technical device information) to assess which news and offers are most likely to interest you and to contact you about their offers according to your interests.

Legal obligations of Eplomteh d.o.o. – achieving compliance with our legal obligations to law enforcement, regulatory, and judicial authorities

The company Eplomteh d.o.o. is subject to the laws of the Republic of Croatia and must comply with them. This includes providing your information to law enforcement, regulatory and judicial authorities and third party litigants in connection with proceedings or investigations anywhere in the world where requested. Where permitted, we will make such a request directly to you or notify you in advance of a response, unless it would affect the prevention or detection of crime.

Providing personal data to comply with binding requests for your data is a legal obligation that depends on the specific request.

Privacy protection of your data is permanent and Eplomteh d.o.o. undertakes all necessary measures to protect them by applicable regulations and good practices. We securely process personal data, including protection against unauthorized or illegal processing and loss. All your data is stored on secure servers.

Legal basis for processing personal data

The above-mentioned use of your personal data is permitted by EU regulations on the protection of personal data based on the following main legal bases:

  • - when you agreed to the processing (consent);
  • - when it is necessary for the conclusion or execution of the contract;
  • - to fulfill legal obligations;
  • - for the purpose of legitimate interests of Eplomteh d.o.o. measured in relation to your rights regarding the protection of personal data
  • - when necessary for legal purposes (there may be uses that are permitted on other grounds); in that case, we will recognize the basis and let you know as soon as possible.

How we keep your data safe

We use various security measures, including encryption and authentication, to protect and maintain the security, integrity, and availability of your information.

Among other things, we use the following measures:

  • - strictly limited personal access to your data based on the "necessary to know" principle and only for which you are informed;
  • - safe transfer of collected data;
  • - installation of firewalls on IT systems to prevent unauthorized access;
  • - permanent monitoring of access to IT systems to detect and prevent misuse of personal data;

How long we keep your data

We store and process personal data only for as long as is necessary for the execution of a specific legitimate purpose unless the applicable regulations provide for a longer storage period for a particular purpose. In the case of giving consent for marketing, we keep the data for as long as the consent is withdrawn, i.e. until it is revoked. In the case of rejected offers, where consent for marketing has not been given, we keep the data related to the offer until revoked, and in case you ask us to delete it, it will be deleted immediately.

Personal data that are no longer needed are irretrievably anonymized or destroyed securely.

How to contact us, your data protection rights, and your right to complain to a data protection authority

You are right:

  • - ask us to provide you with additional information about how we use your information;
  • - to provide you with a copy of the personal data you have provided to us;
  • - to receive personal data about you that you have given us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and - where this is technically possible - to transfer this data to another controller without obstacles if the processing of your data is based on your consent and is carried out in an automated manner;
  • - ask us to update any inaccuracies in the information we hold;
  • - ask us to delete all data about which we no longer have a legal basis for use;
  • - in cases where the processing is based on consent and related to any direct marketing, withdraw your consent with effect in the future to stop such specific processing;
  • - to object to any processing (including profiling) based on a legitimate interest due to your specific situation, unless the reasons for carrying out such processing are stronger than the right to the protection of personal data;
  • - ask us to limit the way we use your data, for example, while a complaint is being processed.

Your use of these rights is subject to certain exceptions to protect the public interest (eg, preventing or detecting crime), our interests (eg, legal obligations), or the rights and freedoms of others. If you exercise any of these rights, we will verify the validity of your right and respond without delay and within one month at the latest. In complex cases or in case of receiving a large number of requests, this period can be extended by an additional two months, of which we will inform you. Eplomteh d.o.o. will process your data legally and securely. If you think that Eplomteh d.o.o. illegally handles your data and you cannot resolve the same in cooperation with us, you have the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Agency for the Protection of Personal Data - AZOP).
